Our Methodist congregation originated the first community meal in Sandpoint on April 14, 1992.  We are still serving meals every Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.  Meals are available for those hungry for physical and/or spiritual nourishment.  It is a time of special fellowship.  All are welcome.

If you would like to volunteer to help with this meal, please call the church office at 263-4232 and leave a message with your contact information.

Support for missionaries in both foreign and domestic arenas is one of the fundamental foundations of Methodism.  Each year our congregation pledges a specific amount in our budget for their financial support and our prayers for them are ongoing.

Currently we support two missionaries.  Katherine Parker in Nepal works with health and hygiene issues. Desiree Segua-April works with children at risk in Nicaragua where she and her husband, Osias, and son Nikolas live.  We also support the Jamaa Letu orphanages in the Republic of Congo by collecting loose change on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month.
